Account Executive — Managed AI Operations (Commission-Only, 1099) Full Time NEW

This is a commission-only role. No base salary. No draw. No benefits. 1099 contractor. You are not “transitioning to commission-only” — you are already willing to live or die on what you close.

WHAT WE DO

JieGou is a managed AI operations company. We replace marketing agencies, BPO call centers, and DIY tool stacks with AI-executed, human-reviewed operations for SMBs in 17 industries — MSPs, dental practices, accounting firms, home services, vet clinics, insurance agencies, law firms, real estate teams, and more.

Customers pay us flat monthly fees ($1,500–$10,000+ MRR depending on tier and industry). We run their operations end-to-end. They see results, not a dashboard.

THE ROLE

Sell managed AI ops to SMB owners and small-firm partners — the same buyers you’ve been selling to for years.

• Deal sizes: $1,500–$10,000/month MRR
• Sales cycles: 2–6 weeks
• Buyers: founders, MSP owners, partners, fractional CMOs, agency principals
• You source your own pipeline. We provide marketing inbound (modest — we’re early-stage), vertical-specific landing pages and audit calculators, demo materials, and a founder + CSM team that actually responds when you escalate.

THE DEAL — DIRECT, NO EUPHEMISMS

• Year 1: 25% of recurring revenue, paid monthly as the customer pays
• Year 2: 10% trailing commission, paid monthly
• Year 3+: 0% — clean exit
• Clawback: 6-month pro-rata if the customer churns within 6 months
• Paid via Stripe as we collect, NOT upfront on annual ACV
• No customer discount you have to negotiate around — we hold pricing
• No exclusivity — represent us alongside non-competing offers

Closing rate matters more than activity volume. 5 right-fit closes that stick beats 30 deals that churn at month 4.

WHO SHOULDN’T APPLY

THE PROCESS

3 rounds, ~2 hours total.

Round 1 — Screening (30 min) “Why commission-only?” Earnings target. Buyer experience. We listen for high agency + realistic comp expectations.

Round 2 — Capability test (45 min) Mock-pitch our Growth tier ($3,000/mo) to us as the buyer. We don’t help. We will hit you with “we already have an agency” / “AI can’t match human writers” / “$3,000 is too expensive” — same objections you’ll get in real life.

Round 3 — References + 60-day trial (30 min + 60 days) Reference checks with 2 buyers you’ve sold to. Then a 60-day milestone agreed up front: 10 discovery calls booked, 3 proposals sent, 1 close. Hit it → full agreement. Miss it → no hard feelings, we part ways.

THE FINE PRINT

• 1099 independent contractor. You set your hours, work where you want, can sell non-competing offers. Direct competitors (agency-replacement AI for SMBs) are out — we’ll list specifics in the contract.
• Remote. Anywhere in the US.
• No visa sponsorship — 1099 classification can’t accommodate it.
• Equal opportunity. We hire on closing ability + customer fit. Race, gender, age, background — none of that matters. Only “can you close $3K MRR deals?” matters.
