Rostering Specialist Full Time NEW

Off2Class is hiring a temp contract specialist to handle rostering for our US K-12 district customers and support the GTM team with admin work. You’ll be the person who makes sure teachers and students are set up correctly and on time so our CSMs can stay focused on customer relationships and outcomes.

This is a 6-month contract starting June 1, 2026, with potential to extend based on performance and volume.

What you’ll do

Rostering (primary)

• Set up teacher and student accounts for new and renewing districts
• Process bulk roster uploads via Clever and ClassLink, and validate data before going live
• Map students to teachers and classes based on district-provided files
• Handle mid-year roster updates: adds, drops, transfers, class reassignments
• Troubleshoot rostering issues and coordinate with district admins to resolve discrepancies
• Clearly document work so the team has visibility into what’s been done and what’s outstanding

GTM team support (secondary)

• Keep customer records clean and accurate in HubSpot, our CRM
• Take ad hoc admin tasks off the GTM team’s plate so they can stay customer-facing
• Pull usage data, build basic customer health snapshots, and incorporate them into presentation templates

What we’re looking for

• Hands-on experience rostering students with Clever and ClassLink while working for an EdTech vendor (required)
• Experience with HubSpot (required)
• Proven track-record of managing highly sensitive student information and adhering to strict data privacy protocols. This includes maintaining a secure home office environment and laptop.
• High attention to detail. Rostering errors create support tickets and frustrate teachers.
• Comfort with spreadsheets (CSV work, VLOOKUP, basic data cleanup)
• Clear written communication. You’ll be corresponding with district admins, district coordinators, and teachers.
• Excellent spoken communication with a deep belief and understanding that often, troubleshooting involves a live conversation, which can save 30 emails and frustration with overburdened district IT staff.
• Strong ability to work independently. You can take a list of districts and work through it autonomously.
• Bonus: experience with SIS platforms like PowerSchool, Skyward, or Infinite Campus
• Bonus: experience with automation tools like Make or Zapier, and the ability to spot repeatable tasks worth automating

Logistics

• 6-month contract, June 1 to November 30, 2026, with possibility of extension
• Full-time, remote
• Must overlap with Eastern business hours
• Open to candidates based in Canada or the United States
• Reports to the Manager of Customer Operations
• Compensation: $5,500 CAD per month
