Caregiver Recruiter – Home Care Organization Full Time

Empowerment Home Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Caregiver Recruiter to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in recruiting, screening, hiring, onboarding, and orienting compassionate caregivers who are committed to delivering exceptional care to our clients.

This is a fast-paced, people-focused role ideal for someone with healthcare or home care recruiting experience who thrives in a high-volume environment and is passionate about building strong teams.

Position Details

• Full-Time
• Hourly Position
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
• In-Office Position

Responsibilities, Candidate Sourcing & Recruitment

• Post and manage job ads on Indeed, LinkedIn, social media, and healthcare job boards
• Source and recruit qualified caregiver candidates
• Build and maintain an active caregiver pipeline
• Conduct proactive outreach to potential candidates
• Attend hiring events and job fairs as needed

Screening & Interviewing

• Review resumes and applications for qualifications and experience
• Conduct phone screenings and interviews
• Evaluate candidates for professionalism, experience, and cultural fit
• Verify credentials and required documentation including HCA registration, TB tests, CADL, and I-9 documents

Hiring, Onboarding & Orientation

• Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and onboarding paperwork
• Extend offers of employment to selected candidates
• Ensure all required hiring documentation is completed before start date
• Maintain organized and compliant employee files
• Lead new caregiver orientation and onboarding sessions
• Educate new hires on company policies, expectations, procedures, and caregiving standards
• Support new employees throughout the onboarding process to ensure a positive experience

Compliance, Auditing & Workforce Support

• Ensure caregivers meet all state and company compliance requirements
• Audit caregiver files regularly to ensure all documentation, certifications, and compliance records remain current and complete
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking data
• Monitor expiration dates for required documents and follow up for renewals as needed
• Maintain organized and audit-ready employee files
• Work closely with staffing coordinators and leadership to meet hiring needs
• Support staffing demands through timely and effective recruiting efforts

Qualifications

• Previous recruiting experience required; home care or healthcare recruiting preferred
• Experience leading orientations or onboarding sessions preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Experience using Indeed and other recruiting platforms preferred
