Director Global Quality Full Time NEW

Relate Search has been retained to identify a Director of Global Quality to be based in the greater Cleveland area for an established international manufacturing organization. This senior leadership role will oversee enterprise-wide quality strategy, regulatory compliance, product integrity, and sustainability initiatives across global regions. The position offers significant organizational visibility and the opportunity to strengthen and align quality systems within a financially strong and expanding industrial business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement an enterprise-wide quality framework that supports global manufacturing operations and aligns with strategic business priorities.
• Lead worldwide quality assurance, regulatory adherence, and product safety programs across multiple production sites.
• Create consistent policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure alignment across regional teams and facilities.
• Direct supplier quality performance, audit initiatives, and structured problem-resolution efforts to reduce risk and improve reliability.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and commercial leadership to proactively integrate quality standards into product development and production processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Systems, or a related technical discipline required.
• Extensive leadership experience in quality or manufacturing within plastics, packaging, bottling, or similarly regulated industrial sectors.
• Proven background managing multi-site or global teams with responsibility for compliance and quality performance.
• Strong familiarity with international regulatory environments, certification standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Professional credentials such as ASQ, Six Sigma, or related certifications are advantageous.
