Job Description:
MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.
Job Responsibility:
- Provide critical nursing care to the cardiac patient while assisting the Interventional Radiologist, Vascular Surgeon, and Endovascular Neurosurgeon in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Provide education to the patient and family members
- Insert and remove intravenous lines
- Administer medication including moderate sedation
- Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures
- Oversee the safety and comfort of patient before, during, and after procedures
- Provide post-procedure monitoring
Requirements:
- Active RN License
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- BLS Certifications
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Interventional Radiology setting
- Other requirements to be determined by our client facility
