Clove Cleaning is an eco-friendly home cleaning service based in Batavia. We serve Saint Charles, Geneva, Batavia, Aurora, Naperville, & Oswego. We work in a team format with 2-4 cleaners per home. All supplies and equipment are provided.
Cleaners drive their own vehicle to 2-3 client homes per day. We reimburse all driving time, mileage, & tolls between cleans, and every cleaner receives a $500 annual budget for vehicle maintenance. Cleaners visit our Batavia office once a week to restock supplies.
Our hours are Mon-Fri, 8a-5p with 3 shifts: 8a-11a, 11a-2p, 2p-5p. Most cleaners work 12 shifts per week with 3 full days (3 shifts) and 2 short days (2 shifts), for an average of 35 hours of cleaning time each week, plus ~2 hours of driving time.
Pay starts at $18/hr + tips ($16/hr for 1 week training period) with raises every 6mo and opportunity for additional training & advancement. High-performing cleaners earn up to $20.50/hr in just 6 months and top-performing senior cleaners earn over $26/hr.
We have a detailed 1 week paid training program.
We have a flexible time off policy and 9 company holidays, which are paid after your first year (you’re also paid for your birthday).

WARNING: THIS IS HARD WORK. Cancel your gym membership, because you’ll be tired every day. If you don’t have the physical stamina to bend, crouch, kneel, lift, lug, and scrub for up to 8 hours a day, this isn’t the job for you.
Prior cleaning experience is not required. If you bring hustle and a good attitude, we’ll take care of the rest. Many of our team have backgrounds in food service, delivery, animal care, & child care.
