Brooksource is seeking an Associate Software Developer to join our Government Agency Client’s Web Application Development team. As a developer, you will help develop and maintain a high visibility next gen Web App with Agentic AI capabilities.
Logistics:
- Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)
- W2 Contract with strong potential for extension or conversion
- Benefits available (Health, Dental, Vision)

Daily you will:
- Build and maintain front‑end features using React
- Collaborate with senior engineers and designers to implement UI/UX requirements
- Use AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve productivity and code quality
- Integrate front‑end components with APIs and backend services
- Participate in code reviews and follow established CI/CD and Git workflows
- Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical team members
Top Skills Needed:
- 1–3 years of Front End development experience
- Hands‑on experience with React
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript / front‑end best practices
- Exposure to cloud‑based environments (AWS preferred)
- Experience working in a team‑based, agile environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills (soft skills are critical)
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with:
- AWS services (API Gateway, cloud‑hosted apps)
- Containers (Docker or similar)
- Basic backend concepts or Node.js exposure
- CMS platforms such as Drupal
