Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler/Production Technician to join their dynamic team on the 2nd shift. As a Material Handler/Production Technician, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing process, supporting the production of high-quality ingredients for large batch products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler/Production Technician
Location: Slate Hill, NY
Pay Range: $19.00/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
What’s the Job?
Mix ingredients according to detailed recipe instructions for large batch production.
Open bags of powder ingredients and prepare them for mixing in large drums.
Monitor temperature gauges and document results accurately on flow charts.
Assist in bagging, boxing, and palletizing finished products for shipment.
Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and using utility knives safely.
What’s Needed?
Ability to follow written instructions precisely and maintain detailed documentation.
Strong attention to detail and good handwriting skills.
Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
Basic experience in packing and order picking is preferred.
Credential requirements include certifications 100092, 100065, 100067, 100025.
