Junior Sales Account Manager – Central US Full Time NEW

With manufacturing and innovation capabilities in the United States, Europe, and Asia, OSF develops customized flavor solutions for customers ranging from emerging brands to large multinational companies.

To support our continued growth in the United States, we are seeking a motivated and commercially driven junior sales account manager to develop business across the Central and South-Central US regions.

This role is ideal for someone early in their commercial career who is looking to grow within a fast-moving entrepreneurial company and develop strong expertise in the food and beverage industry.

The candidate must currently be based in St. Louis, Missouri, or be willing to relocate to the area.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of new business opportunities across assigned territories
• Manage and grow a portfolio of small to mid-sized customer accounts
• Prospect and identify new customers in food, beverage, bakery, dairy, savory, snack, and functional categories
• Coordinate customer requests internally with R&D, Customer Service, and Operations teams
• Follow projects from sample stage through commercialization
• Conduct regular customer visits and maintain strong follow-up discipline
• Maintain accurate CRM updates, project tracking, and visit reports
• Support senior sales managers on strategic accounts when needed
• Represent OSF at trade shows and industry events

Profile

• 3–5 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or technical support within food, beverage, ingredients, or related industries
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Energetic, curious, and commercially minded
• Comfortable in a customer-facing environment
• Highly organized with strong follow-up capabilities
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to learn and grow
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office preferred

A background in food science, business, marketing, or related fields is a plus, but not mandatory.

Location Requirement

Candidates must either:

• Currently reside in the St. Louis or Nashville areas

or

• Be willing to relocate to these areas
