We are looking for a diligent and organized Data Entry Clerk I to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will handle essential administrative tasks, including managing client files, processing incoming mail, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone detail-oriented and committed to maintaining efficient workflow processes.
Job Responsibility:
- Create and maintain client folders
- File client documents systematically
- Process incoming mail
- Scan and digitize documents
- Label files and records accurately
- Handle medical records with confidentiality
- Utilize computer word processing tools to update and maintain records
- Ensure compliance with data entry standards
- Assist in maintaining an orderly filing system
- Collaborate with team members to improve filing and document management processes
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a data entry or administrative role
- Proficiency in filing and document organization
- Familiarity with scanning and digitizing documents
- Ability to process incoming mail and distribute it efficiently
- Knowledge of medical record handling procedures is preferred
- Competence in using computer word processing software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy
