The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office serves a diverse community, supporting victims and families while holding individuals accountable. The office employs over 400 professionals, including 236 attorneys, and handles civil and criminal legal matters for King County, home to over 2.1 million residents. Key divisions include the Criminal Division, which prosecutes felonies and misdemeanors, the Civil Division, which acts as the County’s law firm, and the Family Support Division, which manages child support and paternity-related cases.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Vice President of Operations responsible for overseeing and streamlining the operational functions within the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. The SVP of Operations will lead operational strategies, manage budgets, optimize organizational processes, and cultivate a culture of efficiency and accountability. The role requires frequent collaboration with department heads, strategic planning, managing resources, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving initiatives to enhance community impact and organizational performance.

• Proven success in enhancing Customer Service and client relationships.
• Exceptional ability to lead and inspire a diverse team toward achieving organizational goals.
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and organizational policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across departments.
• Experience in public service, law enforcement, or legal systems is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
