What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Provide overall direction and oversight of all programmatic components, ensuring compliance with guidelines and quality assurance
- Assist with client issues as needed, utilizing de-escalation and mediation techniques
- Oversee the development and implementation of services, adjusting as necessary based on program needs
- Maintain accurate participant documentation, including case files and reports
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences or closely related field
- Five years of experience related to housing and homelessness programs
- One year of supervisory or management-level experience
- Commitment to working with homeless individuals in a trauma-informed care setting
- Must have a valid CA Driver’s license and reliable transportation
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HMIS
- Experience with evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing and Harm Reduction
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity towards individuals in crisis
- Demonstrated dedication to homelessness and related issues
