Plaintiff’s Class Action Attorney (Remote – Federal Court) Full-Time Full Time

Laukaitis Law is seeking a Plaintiff’s Class Action Attorney to join our fast-growing federal court plaintiff’s class action practice.

This is a writing-intensive role focused on drafting federal court complaints, motions, and other pleadings. It is best suited for attorneys who enjoy hands-on litigation work, can move quickly, and are comfortable drafting with minimal supervision.

This position also involves communicating with co-counsel and defense counsel and managing cases throughout the litigation.

We are a 100% remote law firm based in Puerto Rico. You must reside in Puerto Rico. All cases are located in U.S. federal courts (and some U.S. state courts). This is a full-time position with benefits.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Draft federal court complaints, motions to dismiss, and dispositive motions from start to finish with minimal supervision but positive feedback
• Conduct legal research and apply it directly to drafting assignments
• Assist with discovery, including drafting written discovery and reviewing responses
• Support class action and complex litigation matters
• Review case materials and translate facts into clear, well-structured pleadings
• Collaborate with attorneys and litigation staff to move cases forward efficiently
• Manage cases throughout litigation
• Opportunities to appear in front of federal court judges

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience (plaintiff-side strongly preferred)
• Direct experience independently drafting federal court pleadings and motions (not limited to assisting, reviewing, or template-based work)
• Experience drafting motions, complaints, or briefs filed in federal court
• Strong legal writing skills with the ability to draft clearly, concisely, and efficiently
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage assignments with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working directly with co-counsel, defense counsel, and court staff

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with class actions, mass torts, or multi-party litigation
• Experience with plaintiff-side consumer protection, product liability, or data breach matters
• Experience managing multiple litigation matters simultaneously
• Experience working with Clio or similar case management systems

Pay: $75,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
