Responsibilities

• Safely pack and prepare items for transport using appropriate tools and techniques to prevent damage during transit
• Load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment with proper lifting methods to ensure safety and efficiency
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for disassembly or assembly of furniture and fixtures
• Follow all safety protocols related to the handling of construction materials, hazardous substances, or delicate items
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate move schedules and address any concerns promptly

Experience

• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, or asbestos abatement procedures is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods. Prior experience a plus but not necessary.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship

Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour
