Field & Admin Lead – Juneau Cleaning

Juneau Cleaning is hiring a Lead Cleaner / Field Supervisor to run jobs in the field and lead our team on-site.

This is a cleaning role first. You will be actively cleaning most days.
The difference is your responsibility is higher – you are expected to lead the job, maintain standards, and make decisions without constant direction.

If you’re only looking to clean and be told what to do, this is not the role.
If you take ownership, move fast, and hold a high standard, you’ll do well here.

What You’ll Do

Cleaning + Leading (Daily Work)

• Perform residential and commercial cleaning at a high level
• Lead jobs on-site and set the pace for the team
• Ensure all work meets company standards before leaving
• Train and guide team members in real time
• Step in and fix issues without waiting to be told

Decision-Making & Ownership

• Handle job challenges without relying on constant input
• Adjust workflow, timing, and priorities as needed
• Address client concerns professionally on-site
• Keep jobs moving efficiently and on schedule

Team Leadership

• Hold team members accountable to quality and pace
• Correct issues directly and professionally
• Support new hires during training and onboarding

Communication

• Provide clear end-of-day updates
• Flag any issues, gaps, or concerns early
• Work closely with the admin team to keep operations smooth

What We’re Looking For

• Can clean efficiently and thoroughly without supervision
• Can lead others and speak up when something isn’t right
• Makes decisions confidently without needing constant direction
• Holds a higher standard than the average cleaner
• Reliable, consistent, and accountable
• Previous leadership experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation

• Starting at $26/hour
• Increase to $28/hour based on proven leadership and performance
• Bonus opportunities tied to quality and team performance
• Shift differentials available

Expectation

This role carries higher expectations than a standard cleaner:

• You are responsible for the outcome of the job
• You are responsible for how the team performs
• You are expected to solve problems, not pass them up

Schedule

• Primarily weekday daytime hours
• Occasional evenings or weekends as needed
