Forklift and Lumber Yard Specialist Full Time

The Lumber yard position is one of the more physically active jobs at Craftwood. Yard associates handle all the material cutting and loading at the back of our store. Using a forklift associates unload all the delivery trucks icluding Lumber, Moulding, Baged goods, Doors, and windows. They also restock all the outdoor lumber racks as well as the indoor plywood and hardwood racks. All training is “On the Job” and no previous experience is necessary. This is a great job for an active person who enjoys phsical labor, working with saws, and interacting with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading of goods using a forklift
• Hand loading lumber and materials into customer vehicles
• Material cutting on table saw and radial arm saw
• Stocking lumber racks
• Keeping Lumber yard, Cutting floor, and warehouse presentable and clear of debris

Minimum Requirements for Employment:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
• Must be able to work at least one weekend day every week.

Hours:

• Store Hours are Monday-Saturday 7am-6pm, Sunday 8am-5pm
• Shifts are 8 hours + 30 min lunch break
• We ask full time employees to work 1 weekend day every week
