Senior IT Systems Engineer Full Time NEW

As a senior IT systems engineer on the Home Quote Explorer (HQX) Service Management team, you’ll provide continuous improvements, stability, and support for Direct Property and Auto Comparison Rating products. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot incidents, monitor performance dashboards, and make updates. You’ll also maintain accurate documentation and reporting while collaborating with peers, internal customers, vendors, and business partners. You’ll participate in the on-call support rotation.

This is a remote position for US based work only.

Must-have Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems.
• {OR} Associate’s degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline, Math, or other related field of study and minimum of 4 years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures, and operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in monitoring dashboards using Splunk and supporting systems reliant on external partners or downstream data feeds.
• Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.
• Familiarity working with vendors, offshore resources (DEV team), and directly with business partners.
• Proven experience working with Quantum Metrics and Splunk

Compensation

• $118,080-$127,000/year
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
