Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Seal Beach, CA, for a Management Analyst – Public Works. The role involves conducting research and analysis, preparing detailed reports and presentations, and developing recommendations to improve departmental performance. Additional responsibilities include managing program implementation, overseeing budgets and financial activities, coordinating with stakeholders, assisting with employee training, and ensuring compliance with organizational objectives and policies. The Management Analyst will collaborate closely with both internal team members and external partners to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills for evaluating information and making recommendations.
• Excellent communication abilities, including writing, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in finance, including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
• Proven program management skills, with experience planning, implementing, and monitoring initiatives.
• Ability to coordinate and provide training to staff and collaborate within a team environment.
• Proficiency in software tools and technology pertinent to Public Works operations is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous professional experience in public administration, public works, or municipal government is advantageous.
