TaxAct is seeking a highly analytical Revenue Management Analyst to drive revenue optimization efforts across the organization. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Analytics, with a focus on building, implementing, and analyzing models that enhance revenue generation. This position blends data science and analytics with project-based work, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine models aimed at increasing revenue, ranging from simple predictive models to complex data science algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement models in production, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Act as a project manager for model implementation, coordinating efforts across teams to meet deadlines and ensure successful execution.
• Make business cases detailing the expected impact and cost of these data projects, and prioritize accordingly.
• Analyze the impact of implemented models, providing actionable insights to enhance future strategies.
• Conduct deep dives into revenue performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
• Work closely with business partners to translate data insights into actionable strategies that drive business value.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders, including executive management, in a clear and concise manner.
• Utilize advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) to support business decisions and communicate complex data in an easily digestible format.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
• Strong foundation in data science, statistical modeling, and optimization
• Experience building data science models in Python and/or R
• Proficiency in SQL, including writing queries to support data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development
• Proficiency in analyzing large and complex datasets to uncover insights
• Ability to manage or contribute to projects, coordinating with stakeholders and meeting deadlines
• A proactive, independent thinker with a strong “can-do” attitude and the confidence to challenge the status quo.
• Ability to deliver insights with creativity and pragmatism, ensuring a clear understanding of their implications for the business.
