Foreman

Position Overview

The Foreman is responsible for leading field operations related to the installation of water, sewer, storm drain, and fire line infrastructure. This role oversees daily crew activities, ensuring all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications

Responsibilities:

• Minimum of three (3) years of work-related experience as a Utility Foreman, specifically in the installation of water, sewer, storm drain main lines, and fire lines.
• Ability to accurately read plans, interpret elevations, and perform/understand shot elevations.
• Lead and supervise the crew to safely and efficiently execute assigned work.
• Demonstrate strong team leadership; assist with training and development and remain accessible to employees for questions or concerns.
• Ability to work safely at all times, follow OSHA guidelines, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Demonstrated reliable attendance, with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to working in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled to join our construction management team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional management skills, and extensive experience in construction site operations, project scheduling, and contract administration. Duties

• Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution to meet project goals.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee budgeting processes, cost control measures, and resource allocation to keep projects financially on track.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams through supervision and effective communication to maintain productivity.
• Conduct quality control inspections, enforce OSHA safety standards, and implement safety protocols on-site.
• Review contracts, change orders, and scope of work documents to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Ohmmeter for project documentation, measurement verification, and quality assurance.
• Monitor project progress through regular site visits, managing schedules with Primavera P6 and Primavera software for precise tracking.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts using technical skills like blueprint reading and schematics analysis to resolve issues swiftly.

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and other industry-standard tools.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects with strong supervision and leadership skills.
• Deep understanding of construction site safety regulations (OSHA) and implementation of safety protocols.
• Strong background in construction estimating, budgeting, contract administration, and project scheduling.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and schematics accurately while utilizing tools like ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting when necessary.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders effectively.
• Hands-on experience supervising construction sites with a focus on quality control and adherence to technical specifications.
