Coordinator II (226 Days) Full Time NEW

• Conduct research and investigative interviews concerning compliance reviews and allegations of violations of District policy; coordinate with Distinct departments related to donations presented to the Board of Trustees; and preserve documentation in accordance with document retention guidance.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing input and support to leadership in achieving district goals; assist the Executive Director, senior staff, and investigators in the closure of investigations; and conduct site visits as necessary for compliance reviews and investigations.
• Maintain Case Management System (CMS) by tracking and monitoring AI and Full Investigation (FI) cases to ensure all cases are consistent and have required documents; assist with conducting data analyses using available software as needed.
• Understands District data management systems and is able to collect, organize and run analytics needed for reports
• Prepare memorandum of investigation (MOI), executive summaries, and report of investigation (ROI) for AI and FI cases; coordinate and monitor the administration of departmental programs and projects.
• Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries; exchange information with other PSO personnel, District personnel, or external counsel related to various routine compliance reviews
• Maintain an extensive community network and excellent community relations programs throughout the district and the public at large; coordinate and conduct meetings, sessions, seminars, orientations, and departmental training; keep abreast of technical, legislative, and professional trends and developments affecting the department’s target population.
• Research and analyze laws, regulations, policies, and precedent decisions to prepare for meetings and to determine conclusions; perform all other tasks and duties as assigned. Provide excellent customer service to employees by responding to telephone, email, and in-person inquiries to assist with Professional Standards Office-related topics, while remaining impartial and confidential.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• One (1) year of directly related experience or experience in some capacity of human resources, and/or an administrative investigative role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the techniques, methods and procedures used in gathering information and evidence and conducting administrative investigations.
• Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations firmly, courteously, tactfully and impartially.
• Working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems.
• Ability to demonstrate a strategic, consultative approach to resolving HCM related issues.
• Proven ability to present a positive image for the district, maintain professional demeanor, provide effective customer service and make good decisions.
• Knowledge of current rules, policies, regulations, laws, principles, and practices related to human resources.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and policies. Knowledge of Texas
• Criminal Code of Procedure and Texas Penal Code preferred.
• Ability to safeguard sensitive and confidential information from intentional or unintentional disclosure.
• Ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks and to work under time pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proven skills in using Microsoft Office Professional and other HR software.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and written, at all levels including the Board.
• Ability to present a positive image for the department and organization.
• Proven strong customer service skills.
• Must possess exceptional writing skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely document findings, draft reports, and communicate complex compliance issues.
