Lead Carpenter/Foreman Full Time NEW

A Lead Carpenter or Carpenter Foreman acts as the primary on-site leader, bridging the gap between project management and the hands-on crew. This role requires a blend of high-level technical expertise and strong supervisory skills, as you are responsible for both “swinging a hammer” and managing a team of 2–4 or more employees.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervision & Leadership: Direct and delegate daily tasks to a crew of carpenters, laborers, and apprentices. You are responsible for maintaining a productive team environment and mentoring junior staff.
• Technical Execution: Perform complex rough and finish carpentry, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, and flooring.
• Plan Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, elevations, and technical specifications to ensure the project is built to exact standards.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols, ensuring all workers use proper PPE and maintain a clean, hazard-free job site.
• Project Logistics: Estimate material needs, order supplies, schedule subcontractors (plumbers, electricians), and track daily progress.
• Quality Control: Inspect all work in progress and upon completion to ensure it meets quality benchmarks and building codes

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
