Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Painter to oversee and execute painting projects across residential and commercial sites. As a key leader on our team, you will coordinate painting operations, mentor junior painters, and ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise in various painting techniques, surface preparation, and construction processes will drive successful project completion while maintaining a positive and productive work environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example and bring vibrant transformations to our clients’ spaces.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise painting crews on multiple projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Prepare surfaces through plastering, caulking, sanding, and other surface prep techniques to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine scope of work and material requirements
- Apply various paint types using hand tools, airless spray equipment, and power tools.
- Perform detailed surface finishing including trim carpentry, drywall and restoration tasks as needed
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety guidelines related to construction painting, scaffolding use, welding, and equipment handling
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting across residential and commercial, settings with a strong understanding of construction site protocols
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers; power tools including airless sprayers; and specialized equipment
- Knowledge of color theory for effective color matching and aesthetic consistency in renovation projects
- Familiarity with plastering, caulking, trim carpentry.
- Previous roles involving remodeling or restoration projects that demonstrate versatility across different construction disciplines
- Basic math skills for measurements and estimations; handyman experience is a plus for multi-faceted project support

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
