Job Summary

Accelerated, Inc. Is currently seeking an experienced Linehaul Driver (Class A CDL Driver). These drivers are responsible for driving company vehicles regionally under dispatch of their home station in order to service ACC customers. Drivers must follow safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the DOT, FMCSA, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain valid and appropriate driver’s license issued from the state wherein the employee is based
• Communicate with dispatch for loads, paperwork, or daily route information
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections for equipment
• Utilize company provided technology for completion of proof of delivery
• Correctly fill out proof of delivery paperwork/ acceptance forms
• Has basic understanding of hazmat regulations
• Practice safety procedures daily to prevent accidents
• Load freight safely using forklift and ensuring proper weight distribution

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CDL Class A driving experience, driving a trailer. (Required)
• Maintain a valid CDL Class A Driver’s License from the state in which the employee is based. (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of Air Freight experience. (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of Hazmat experience. (Required)
• Must adhere to DOT requirements
• Must have a good driving record for the past 3 years.
• Must be able to pass company background check and drug screen.
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
