Nurse Practitioner/PA job details:
Position Details:
Full time
36 hours per week
Will hold own patient panel as well as see overflow and walk-ins
Essential Job Duties: – Completes the routine physical assessment using common assessment skills in a systematic manner. – Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs. – Records physical findings, formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient’s condition. – Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
Respects patients' rights, including the right to inform, privacy, confidentiality, and the right to refuse care. - Assists with patient education to promote self-care and patient independence. - Follows company policies and procedures and department protocols.
Qualifications: – Graduate from an accredited MSN or PA program – Must have Illinois RN license. – Must have active APRN or PA/CSR license or be eligible for licenses. – AANP, ANCC or PA certification
License/Certification: – BLS certification
