What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Organize and conduct all Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Train and coach team members on agile processes to ensure consistent understanding and application
- Execute functional testing of web application features and document defects clearly
- Build, maintain, and expand automated regression test suites using various testing frameworks
- Collaborate with developers to define clear acceptance criteria and ensure stories are testable
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- 4+ years of applicable experience in software quality assurance and testing
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of additional relevant experience
- Certified Scrum Master or equivalent certification, or 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks including Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- 1+ year of experience with performance and load testing tools such as NeoLoad or JMeter
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with the federal government
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- DHS Trusted Tester certification or equivalent accessibility certification
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and container-based deployment patterns
- Experience testing on open-source applications
