Work Order Coordinator – Engineering (Days) Full Time NEW

The Work Order Coordinator is responsible for oversight of Engineering work order program which includes. creating and issuing work orders to appropriate staff, evaluating and closing work orders, creating and updating the preventative maintenance program. This position will also use manufactures specifications, manage asset ID , update parts inventory and cost module, maintain current tool inventory, manage annual departmental utility training, as well as creating and generating reports as needed, and is responsible for the administration of department policies and procedures.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience

Two years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.

Licenses & Certifications

• Driver’s License

• Ability to confidentially maintain all information.
• Ability to deal with the public and individuals within the organization.
• Ability to prepare and present training materials, and respond to questions.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Additional post secondary education preferred.
• Effective organization and time management skills.
• Excellent in analyzing and evaluating information, providing statistical analysis and problem solving tasks caring them to a logical conclusion. Ability to concentrate on tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent knowledge of English grammar and spelling.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Legible handwriting.
• Good telephone and communication skills with the ability to handle the public in crisis situations.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills preferred.
• Must be proficient with a variety of computer applications, especially Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Must be proficient with Windows operating system.
• Must possess knowledge of modern office procedures and office equipment.
