Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated Entry Level Welder to join their team. As a Production Welder you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the assembly and welding of various components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Welder-Production- Entry Level
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Pay Range: $20.00/hr
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm and Friday 6am-12pm (Overtime)
What’s the Job?
Follow daily directions from team lead on which parts to work on
Perform MIG welding on mild steels with precision and safety
Work with fixtured parts to ensure accurate assembly
Use tape measures, read prints, and operate basic hand tools
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
What’s Needed?
Basic computer skills
Ability to read prints and use measuring tools
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Entry-level experience in welding or related areas preferred
Credential requirements: 100042, 100069, 100065, 100067
