Role Description
Americart is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Website Development Intern to join our remote team. This is an unpaid remote internship designed to provide students and aspiring developers with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining the company’s website and digital platforms.
The intern will work closely with the team to improve website functionality, enhance user experience, and support the development of real-world e-commerce solutions. Responsibilities include assisting with front-end and back-end development tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing website performance, and collaborating on new website features and improvements.
This internship is ideal for individuals looking to gain practical experience in web development, software engineering, and e-commerce operations within a growing company.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of web development and software engineering concepts
- Experience through coursework, personal projects, or internships in website or software development
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or related programming languages
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a remote team environment
- Interest in e-commerce platforms, website optimization, and digital user experiences
- Familiarity with Git, version control systems, or Agile development practices is a plus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience developing websites, applications, or software projects is preferred
