Join our dynamic construction team as a Waterproofing Specialist, where your expertise will be vital in safeguarding structures from water intrusion and damage. Duties

• Apply waterproofing membranes, coatings, and sealants to various surfaces including foundations, walls, and decks using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine waterproofing requirements and installation procedures.
• Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure waterproofing systems are installed correctly and meet project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades such as plumbing, electrical, masonry, and carpentry to ensure seamless integration of waterproofing components.
• Perform surface preparation activities such as cleaning, sanding, or grinding before applying waterproofing materials.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance records.

Experience

• Proven experience in waterproofing installation on commercial or residential construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes related to waterproofing projects.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings specific to waterproofing systems.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of waterproofing materials including membranes, caulking compounds, plastering mixes, and sealants.
• Familiarity with related trades such as plumbing, roofing, masonry, drywall finishing (including plastering), and concrete forming.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and heavy machinery safely on construction sites.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations pertinent to waterproofing work.
• Additional skills preferred include experience with Bluebeam software for digital document management and project collaboration.
