Water Operator Full Time

• Schedule & on-call Full-time (40 hours/week). Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with on-call hours rotating nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key responsibilities

· Perform weekly pump house checks across 35+ water systems.

· Install and repair customer water meters; troubleshoot meter issues.

· Respond to customer service calls for water service connections and disconnections.

· Locate and repair water leaks.

· Collect and plot GPS locations as needed.

· Maintain effective communication with company management.

· Attend continuing education courses as required.

Qualifications

· High school diploma (minimum).

· Able to follow instructions and comply with State requirements.

· Analytical approach to troubleshooting.

· Friendly, professional customer service skills.

· Strong organizational skills and reliability.

· Water operator license preferred; willing to train the right person.

· Must obtain Water Operator License Grade 1A (or higher) within 1 year.

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
