II. Position Overview
The VP of Global Marketing is responsible for formulating and executing the company’s global marketing strategy, driving brand growth, market expansion, and revenue generation. This role requires coordinating marketing activities across diverse regional markets to ensure brand consistency, while simultaneously developing differentiated strategies tailored to local market nuances.
III. Key Responsibilities
Global Marketing Strategy Formulation
Develop and implement the company’s overarching global marketing strategy and annual plans.
Drive brand growth and increase market share in alignment with corporate business objectives.
Brand Management and Communication
Establish and maintain a unified global brand image and brand values.
Oversee brand communications, public relations (PR), and content strategies.
Market Expansion and Growth Management
Identify new market opportunities and drive international market expansion.
Formulate regional marketing strategies and ensure their effective execution.
Digital Marketing and Data-Driven Approaches
Lead digital marketing initiatives (SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, etc.).
Leverage data analytics to optimize marketing ROI and customer acquisition efficiency.
Team Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build and lead the global marketing team (including regional marketing leads, brand specialists, growth experts, etc.).
Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to drive business growth.
Budget and Performance Management
Develop and manage the global marketing budget.
Monitor key metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, conversion rates) to continuously optimize resource allocation and returns.
Partner and Channel Management
Manage external agencies, media partners, and strategic alliances.
Build and cultivate a global marketing ecosystem.
IV. Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher; a major in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
20+ years of marketing experience, including at least 5 years in global or cross-regional marketing management roles.
Proven track record of successfully building international brands or driving global market growth.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and data analytics methodologies.
Exceptional strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent cross-cultural communication skills and adaptability to an international work environment.
