We’re looking for a highly experienced, hands-on VP Full Stack Developer to join a greenfield initiative building a brand-new client-facing portal within a leading banking environment. This is a critical, high-impact role for someone who thrives on ownership, technical depth, and close collaboration with business stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build a modern client-facing web platform from the ground up
- Contribute actively to coding (50–60%), architecture, and technical design discussions
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Take ownership of problems end-to-end with minimal hand-holding
- Ensure high standards in performance, security, and user experience
What We’re Looking For
- 12–15+ years of experience in software development, with a strong hands-on approach
- Deep expertise in Angular and/or React (UI development)
- Solid working knowledge of Core Java (able to write and understand backend code)
- Experience building and maintaining external/client-facing applications, with a strong focus on security
- Background in banking or financial services (highly preferred)
- Understanding of trading systems, derivatives, or trade lifecycle (equities derivatives knowledge is a plus)
- Ability to interact confidently with business users and operate independently
