Vice President, Retail Transformation
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and innovation-driven Vice President of Retail Transformation to lead enterprise retail modernization initiatives, operational improvement programs, and customer-focused transformation strategies across multiple markets and channels. This executive leadership role is responsible for optimizing retail operations, enhancing customer experiences, and driving scalable growth through process innovation and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate is an experienced retail leader with expertise in operational transformation, multi-channel retail strategy, organizational change management, and performance optimization within dynamic business environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute retail transformation strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives and operational priorities
Lead initiatives focused on retail modernization, operational efficiency, and customer experience enhancement across physical and digital channels
Collaborate with operations, sales, marketing, technology, merchandising, and regional leadership teams to implement transformation initiatives
Analyze retail performance metrics, customer insights, and market trends to identify optimization opportunities and strategic improvements
Establish scalable operational frameworks, governance standards, and performance measurement processes across retail functions
Drive process improvement initiatives related to workflow efficiency, store operations, and cross-channel integration
Support organizational change management efforts and promote operational consistency across retail teams and markets
Oversee cross-functional transformation projects, ensuring timely execution and measurable business impact
Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and customer engagement enhancement within retail operations
Mentor and develop high-performing retail operations and transformation management teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations, Marketing, or related field
10+ years of experience in retail operations, business transformation, operational strategy, or related executive leadership roles
Proven experience leading large-scale retail transformation or operational improvement initiatives
Strong analytical, communication, and strategic planning capabilities
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills
Experience working within fast-paced, multi-channel, or multinational retail environments
Familiarity with retail analytics platforms, CRM systems, operational reporting tools, and enterprise technologies preferred
