Job Overview

The Vice President, Project Management is a senior executive leadership role responsible for overseeing Preservation Bio’s global program and project management function, ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives, technology deployments, and cross-functional programs.

Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, this role will lead enterprise-wide project governance, program delivery frameworks, and execution discipline—ensuring alignment between strategy, product development, technology implementation, and operational scalability.

The VP of Project Management will play a critical role in translating Preservation Bio’s strategic vision into structured, executable programs—driving delivery excellence across blockchain platforms, digital infrastructure, and strategic partnerships.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in project and program leadership within technology, blockchain, fintech, or complex digital environments, with a proven ability to manage large-scale, cross-border initiatives in fast-evolving ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Project Strategy & Execution Leadership

Lead and oversee Preservation Bio’s global project and program management strategy aligned with corporate objectives.

Translate strategic initiatives into structured execution roadmaps, timelines, and delivery frameworks.

Ensure successful delivery of complex blockchain, platform, and infrastructure projects.

Drive execution discipline across multiple concurrent programs and strategic initiatives.

Enterprise Project Governance & Framework Development

Establish and optimize enterprise-wide project governance, methodologies, and standards (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall where appropriate).

Implement scalable program management frameworks supporting global operations.

Ensure consistency in project planning, reporting, risk management, and delivery quality.

Maintain alignment with regulatory, compliance, and operational standards.

Strategic Initiative & Portfolio Management

Manage a portfolio of high-impact strategic initiatives across product, technology, partnerships, and market expansion.

Prioritize initiatives based on strategic value, resource allocation, and business impact.

Track milestones, dependencies, and performance across the project portfolio.

Support executive decision-making through structured reporting and insights.

Program & Cross-Functional Execution Excellence

Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, compliance, operations, and external partners.

Ensure seamless collaboration across global teams and time zones.

Resolve execution bottlenecks, dependencies, and delivery risks.

Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across execution processes.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with blockchain implementations, technology delivery, and cross-border operations.

Develop proactive risk management frameworks and escalation protocols.

Ensure transparency in issue tracking and resolution across programs.

Support resilient and adaptive execution in dynamic environments.

Data-Driven Execution & Performance Optimization

Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems to measure program performance and delivery outcomes.

Leverage data and analytics to improve execution efficiency, predict risks, and optimize resource utilization.

Drive continuous improvement in project delivery timelines, cost efficiency, and quality.

Align execution metrics with business objectives and strategic outcomes.

Leadership & Organizational Development

Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global project management organization.

Qualifications

20+ years of progressive experience in project/program management, operations, or execution leadership within blockchain, technology, fintech, or digital infrastructure environments.

Proven success in delivering large-scale, complex, cross-functional programs in global organizations.

Strong understanding of blockchain technology, digital platforms, and distributed systems preferred.

Experience working closely with executive leadership, technical teams, and institutional stakeholders.

Deep expertise in project governance, portfolio management, and execution frameworks.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
