Job Overview
The Vice President of Strategic Project Execution will serve as a senior leader responsible for driving enterprise-wide execution across strategic initiatives, operational programs, and business transformation efforts.
Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, this role will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of high-priority initiatives while ensuring alignment between leadership teams, operational functions, and long-term business objectives.
The VP of Strategic Project Execution will play a key role in improving organizational execution, increasing operational efficiency, and supporting scalable growth initiatives across multiple business functions.
The ideal candidate brings significant experience leading complex projects, enterprise initiatives, and cross-functional programs within fast-paced business environments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Execution Leadership
Lead enterprise-wide initiatives and ensure alignment between business priorities and operational execution.
Translate organizational goals into structured roadmaps, execution frameworks, and measurable outcomes.
Develop governance structures that support effective decision-making and project visibility.
Partner closely with executive leadership to prioritize initiatives supporting business growth.
Enterprise Project Management
Lead complex cross-functional projects from planning through successful implementation.
Develop scalable project management frameworks, reporting structures, and execution methodologies.
Manage project portfolios across business functions including operations, technology, product, finance, and commercial teams.
Ensure initiatives remain aligned with timelines, budgets, resources, and organizational objectives.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Serve as a central point of coordination across leadership teams and operational departments.
Facilitate collaboration between business functions to improve communication and execution efficiency.
Identify dependencies, execution risks, and operational bottlenecks.
Provide regular reporting and visibility across strategic initiatives.
Operational Excellence
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and execution effectiveness.
Implement processes and workflows that support consistent project delivery.
Develop standardized operating procedures, playbooks, and execution frameworks.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational functions.

Support organizational expansion efforts by coordinating execution activities across multiple initiatives.
Partner with leadership teams to evaluate operational requirements and resource planning.
Support new initiatives, process improvements, and organizational scaling activities.
Coordinate cross-functional implementation efforts supporting business objectives.
Data & Performance Management
Develop KPIs and reporting metrics that measure execution effectiveness.
Build dashboards and reporting processes that provide visibility into project performance.
Utilize performance data to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency.
Provide leadership teams with insights supporting decision-making and prioritization.
Leadership & Team Development
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing strategic execution teams.
Create a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Develop scalable organizational processes supporting long-term growth.
Strengthen collaboration across leadership teams and business functions.
Qualifications
15+ years of progressive experience leading strategic initiatives, enterprise projects, operations, program management, or business transformation functions.
Demonstrated success managing large-scale cross-functional initiatives within technology, financial services, consulting, or related industries.
Strong understanding of project governance, operational planning, and organizational execution models.
Experience working with executive leadership teams and complex stakeholder environments.
Exceptional communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
