Vice President of Operations Management Full Time

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Vice President of Operations Management at Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE)-AL. The Vice President will oversee day-to-day operational activities across key business lines, ensuring consistent service delivery, operational excellence, and adherence to regulatory and internal standards. Responsibilities include managing and optimizing end-to-end operational processes, monitoring performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk. The role will oversee budget and P&L elements related to operations, coordinate cross-functional projects, and collaborate with technology, compliance, and business teams to support strategic goals. The Vice President will lead, coach, and develop operations teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and serve as an escalation point for critical operational issues and client-facing service challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Operations Management, with experience leading complex, multi-team operational environments and driving process optimization and scalability.
• Proven experience with P&L Management, including budgeting, cost control, and aligning operational decisions with financial targets.
• Demonstrated focus on Customer Service, with a track record of improving service levels, handling escalations, and building a service-oriented culture.
• Advanced Strategic Planning capabilities, including setting operational roadmaps, aligning operations with organizational strategy, and managing change.
• Solid Project Management skills, including planning, execution, stakeholder management, and delivery of cross-functional initiatives on time and within scope.
• Experience in financial services, capital markets, or market infrastructure operations is highly beneficial.
• Proven people leadership skills, including team development, performance management, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages are an asset.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfort working in a remote, international context with strong self-organization, reliability, and stakeholder management skills.
