Our Client is seeking a dynamic Regional Vice President of Merchandising to lead product strategy, supplier partnerships, and sourcing initiatives to drive revenue growth and profitability.

This leadership role oversees merchandising operations, category strategy, analytics, pricing, and supply chain coordination. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in category management, team leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration within a retail, wholesale, or distribution environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and develop high‑performing merchandising and analytics teams
• Foster a culture of collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement
• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members

Merchandising Strategy & Execution

• Define and execute category strategies to drive sales performance and margin growth
• Develop financial forecasts and performance targets for product categories
• Lead supplier engagement and oversee vendor partnerships to maximize value

Pricing, Analytics & Performance Management

• Establish and manage pricing strategies based on market insights and data analysis
• Partner with analytics teams to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive decision‑making
• Ensure cost accuracy across products and logistics to support profitability

Supplier & Inventory Management

• Optimize supplier relationships to improve product availability and delivery efficiency
• Manage inventory investments and oversee product lifecycle strategies
• Lead negotiations related to vendor programs, rebates, and marketing investments

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with sales, marketing, logistics, IT, and finance teams to support business objectives
• Support promotional planning and marketing efforts to increase customer engagement
• Partner with IT teams to enhance digital platforms and customer‑facing systems

Operations & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for new products and category expansion
• Drive innovation and improve processes to enhance operational efficiency
• Ensure alignment with company policies, procedures, and performance standards

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in merchandising, category management, or operations
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in retail, wholesale, or distribution environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
• Strong expertise in data analysis and Excel
• Experience leading large‑scale merchandising or category initiatives
