Vice President – International Institutional Sales

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced marketing individual to expand our international investor coverage, with a focus on institutional and sophisticated private capital across the region. This individual will play a key role in driving capital formation for hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and private credit strategies. A candidate with European relationships would be particularly attractive.

The role combines immediate participation in active fundraises with the expectation of building a long-term, revenue-generating book of business. This individual will work closely with senior partners and fund managers, including covering investor meetings and coordinating European roadshows, while progressively taking ownership of regional coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow international investor relationships, including family offices, wealth managers, fund-of-funds, pensions, and insurers
• Drive capital formation efforts across multiple alternative strategies
• Participate in international roadshows and investor meetings alongside senior partners and fund managers
• Execute targeted coverage plans by country and investor segment
• Source and originate new LP relationships through proactive outreach and long-term relationship cultivation
• Act as a primary point of contact for a selected group of investors throughout the fundraising lifecycle
• Maintain a strong understanding of portfolio construction needs across international allocators
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure high-quality materials and meeting preparedness

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional sales, capital raising, or alternatives distribution
• Having an established international investor network, particularly in Europe (family offices, MFOs, private banks, FoHFs, pensions, insurers)
• Demonstrated ability to raise capital and manage investor relationships independently
• Strong knowledge of hedge funds and/or private markets fundraising dynamics
• Commercial mindset with a track record of revenue generation or clear path to it
• Ability to operate in a highly entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Foreign language proficiency would be a plus
• FINRA licenses (Series 7 and 63) preferred or willingness to obtain
