Role Overview

NAI Technology Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Environmental Intelligence & Biosystems, to lead the development of the environmental and biological sensing layer that powers our adaptive AI ecosystem.

This executive will be responsible for transforming real-world environmental and biosensor data into high-quality inputs for our AI systems—enabling NutriFlex AI to deliver truly context-aware, personalized health intelligence.

This role sits at the intersection of:

• Biosystems engineering
• Environmental science
• Wearable technology
• Artificial intelligence

Key Responsibilities

1. Environmental Intelligence Strategy

• Define and lead the company’s environmental intelligence roadmap
• Identify key environmental variables (e.g., temperature, air quality, circadian disruption) that impact human performance
• Integrate environmental insights into product and AI strategy

2. Biosensor Systems & Innovation

• Lead the design and implementation of biosensor frameworks
• Guide the development of environmental and biological sensing capabilities for PulseEdgeOne
• Ensure accuracy, calibration, and reliability of sensor data in real-world environments

3. Data Integration & AI Enablement

• Translate raw environmental and biological signals into structured, AI-ready data
• Partner with AI/ML teams to enhance:
• Model inputs
• Predictive accuracy
• Real-time adaptation capabilities

4. Research & Experimental Systems Leadership

• Design and oversee controlled experimental environments
• Establish protocols for monitoring:
• pH levels
• Temperature
• Water quality
• Ion concentration
• Ensure data integrity, reproducibility, and scientific rigor

5. Hardware & Ecosystem Integration

• Work cross-functionally with hardware teams to integrate biosensors into wearable devices
• Support end-to-end flow:
• Sensor → Data Pipeline → AI Model → User Insight
• Optimize system performance across the NAI ecosystem

6. Sustainability & Environmental Health Leadership

• Align product innovation with global environmental and sustainability frameworks
• Position NAI Technology as a leader in environmental health intelligence
• Contribute to long-term impact initiatives and partnerships

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Biosystems Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Strong foundation in:
• Physics, Chemistry, and Biological Systems
• Laboratory experimentation and environmental control systems
• Experience with:
• Biosensors or environmental monitoring systems
• Data collection, analysis, and interpretation
• Demonstrated ability to work across technical and research domains

Preferred

• MS, MBA, or PhD
• Experience integrating hardware and software systems
• Exposure to wearable technologies or IoT systems
• Familiarity with AI/ML data pipelines
• Background in microbiology, fermentation systems, or environmental modeling

Compensation

• Equity-based (pre-seed stage)
• Executive equity 0.5 – 1.0%, with performance-based upside
