The team is looking for a programmer to help out with our game, Tricker Trigger! We’ve got a fair amount of legwork done, most of our game’s primary features in, but we’re lacking in other areas such as cut-scene placement, simple AI actions/patrol routes, and some general bugs. Overall, nearly every feature is in but needs cleaning up and fine-tuning!
Currently, all of our heavy lifting via editing in-game balancing is being done in Excel Sheets (Levels, Items, ETC).
Documentation will be provided to better help you get brought up to speed on what our last programmer was working on.
The game Genre is an Active turn-based JRPG
You can refer to Games such as Final Fantasy 5 through 9 / 10-2 / 11 / 12 and Chrono Trigger on what are Active Turn-Base features and pacing.
There’s also a side-project of a Tactical Game that’s in development!

• The Take Damage, Dodge, and Attack animations in Party Combat need to be synced correctly; the animations are playing too far apart.
• Ensure attack input lines up with animation triggers as documented.
• Handel any lingering bugs.

Duel Combat Feature- $100 (Rock/Paper/Scissors)
Five rounds of Rock Paper Scissors, with each round won gaining 1 resource point, which the player can use for a Skill.
Also, implementing the already created feature of Items.
