Summary/Objective
The Turf Territory Sales Manager – West is responsible for overseeing all sales activities within the western United States and managing the full sales function within the professional turf sector at Barenbrug USA. This position works closely with both external customers and internal departments to drive revenue growth, deliver superior customer experience, and build lasting business relationships. The ideal candidate is passionate about the industry, brings a positive and professional attitude, and demonstrates the ability to develop and sustain strong client partnerships.
Essential Functions
Technical/Agronomic Support

1. Drive the growth and protection of Barenbrug branded product sales volume throughout the territory, actively identifying opportunities to expand branded product placement, defend existing branded business, and deepen relationships with distributors who champion the Barenbrug brand.
2. Leverage co-op and marketing agreements to support branded product adoption and maintain competitive positioning.
3. Direct, manage, and coordinate all company sales functions within the assigned territory.
4. Develop and coordinate the sales selling cycle and methodology.
5. Maintain an intimate knowledge of market pricing for turf products.
6. Collaborate closely with the marketing team on brand strategy and sales program development.
7. Oversee customer service interactions and order processing to ensure a smooth, positive customer experience.
8. Create and enhance a customer-friendly corridor between distributors and Barenbrug USA.
9. Develop sales programs to support value-based and other pricing developed by the marketing department.
10. Develop and manage top-line sales budgets for the territory.
11. Know and leverage the key purchase cues of the largest distributors within the territory.
12. Manage and oversee buying programs.
13. Respond to questions from distributors and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
14. Analyze, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results.
15. Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
16. Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

· Increase Barenbrug branded product sales revenue territory-wide by protecting existing branded business and expanding placement with distributor partners.
· Increase territory revenue and seed bag margin year-over-year.
· Enhance customer satisfaction through polling, surveys, and consistent follow-up.
· Grow and maintain m Maintain a smooth, positive customer experience across all touchpoints.
· Multi-faceted customer contact across the territory.

Work Environment
This role operates primarily in a home office setting. Standard office equipment including computers, phones, and related tools are used routinely.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some lifting, filing, and standing may be required. The employee must be able to lift files and materials up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, salaried position. Core availability is expected during standard business hours. Some flexibility in hours is allowed based upon the needs of the company and the customer. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
This position requires up to 50% travel. Travel is frequently outside the local area and may include overnight stays.
