Job Responsibility:
- Operate tractor with 53′ van trailer on various roads and highways throughout designated Regions
- Deliveries from distribution center to stores and depots throughout the region
- With 100% drop & hook runs and driving that is done at night when there is less traffic, spend most of your night actually on the road driving
- Maintain compliance with ELD, vehicle condition reports, and all other aspects of DOT compliance
- Keep updated on current DOT rules and regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL License
- A clean driving record with no major accidents and no alcohol or drug convictions
- At least 1 year all weather driving is required
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position
