Role Overview

We are hiring a Transcriptionist to convert audio and video into accurate written records. The role demands a sharp ear, fast fingers, and the discipline to deliver clean, formatted transcripts on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

– Transcribe audio and video files into accurate written transcripts

– Edit AI-generated transcripts for accuracy, formatting, and speaker attribution

– Format transcripts according to client style guides and templates

– Flag inaudible sections, technical terms, and named entities for review

– Meet daily turnaround targets while maintaining accuracy benchmarks

– Maintain confidentiality of all transcription content

Required Skills and Qualifications

– 1+ years in transcription, captioning, or related work

– Typing speed of 70+ WPM with high accuracy

– Excellent written English including grammar, spelling, and punctuation

– Familiarity with transcription tools (Express Scribe, Otter, Rev, oTranscribe)

– Ability to maintain focus during long-form audio

– Comfort handling sensitive or confidential material
