Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Transfer Scientist, based in Carlsbad, CA. The Technical Transfer Scientist will be responsible for leading key technical projects, including the transfer and scaling of nutritional product formulations from research and development to manufacturing. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating manufacturing processes, performing laboratory testing, troubleshooting production issues, documenting standard operating procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the role involves ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards, as well as providing recommendations for process improvements and optimization.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in formulation development, process optimization, and technical transfer within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in conducting laboratory testing and data analysis, with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles, standard operating procedures, and compliance with industry regulations
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, along with technical documentation proficiency
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field
• Experience in the nutritional or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is highly desired
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
