ENGINEERING HIRING POOL
This program aims to establish a pool of applicants suitable for filling TCEQ Engineering and General Engineering Specialist positions.
Licensed Engineers receive a $5,000.00 recruitment bonus. Unlicensed Engineers can join TCEQ and receive training and study resources to prepare for their PE exam.
How does the Engineer Hiring Program work?
Hiring supervisors in the Austin Central Office, or any of TCEQ’s sixteen regional offices, may request candidates with specific Texas Professional Engineer licenses and geographic preferences from the Engineer Hiring pool. The hiring supervisor schedules interviews and makes a final selection.
