Systems Software Engineer Full Time

A leading quantitative trading firm is seeking a Systems Software Engineer to build the infrastructure and platforms powering a highly performance-sensitive trading environment.

Working at the intersection of software and infrastructure, you’ll develop the systems that enable reliable, scalable, and efficient operation of critical trading and research platforms. The team works across Linux, networking, distributed systems, automation, and platform engineering to solve complex technical challenges at scale.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience with one or more languages such as Python, Go, C++, Rust, Java, or C
• Deep understanding of Linux systems
• Experience building software, tooling, or infrastructure for production environments
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, systems design, networking, or platform engineering
• Experience improving the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of critical systems and services
• A track record of solving complex technical problems in demanding engineering environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud, container, or orchestration technologies
• Infrastructure automation or platform engineering experience
• Performance profiling and optimization experience
• Experience operating large-scale distributed systems
• Background within a quantitative trading firm, leading technology company, or high-growth startup
• Exposure to observability, monitoring, or production engineering practices
