What You’ll Do

• Resolve intricate capacity constraints and supply disruptions to proactively prevent customer dissatisfaction and maintain operational flow.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of supplier performance and sufficiency metrics, identifying potential risks, validating robust recovery plans, and ensuring their successful closure.
• Lead proactive engagement with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive swift resolution of escalated supply and order fulfillment issues.
• Strategically evaluate and coordinate expedited freight or alternative logistics solutions to effectively bridge short-term supply gaps when necessary.
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination to align stakeholders, define timelines, and drive actions for critical and escalated supply chain cases and backorders.
• Design, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive supplier recovery plans for complex and time-sensitive escalations, ensuring rapid and effective solutions.
• Orchestrate cross-functional problem-solving initiatives to minimize impacts on customer service and operational downtime.
• Develop and deploy innovative countermeasures, including process improvements, scheduling adjustments, alternative sourcing, and logistics strategies, to close supply gaps and restore stability.
• Prepare clear, concise issue summaries, present viable options, and provide informed recommendations, effectively communicating status to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Provide essential support for time-sensitive escalations, which may occasionally require extended or non-core working hours.

Required Qualifications

• Proven ability to act as a self-starter, independently managing a heavy caseload of complex supplier and part-related issues.
• Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset, capable of identifying root causes and developing effective resolutions.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively across diverse functions, including purchasing, logistics, and operations.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate risks, resolutions, and status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• A customer-centric approach, consistently keeping customer impact at the forefront of all decision-making.
