Student Services Assistant Full Time NEW

We’re seeking a motivated Student Services Assistant to join a team geared towards supporting future nursing professionals. This person will assist nursing students secure practicum sites and preceptors for placement in practicum courses as needed across a variety of nursing programs.

• Work Model: 100% remote. Equipment will be provided but you must have a reliable internet connection.
• Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm CST
• Temporary: This is a temporary 3-month opportunity

Responsibilities –

• Assist students in securing practicum sites and preceptors for placement in practicum courses as needed across a variety of nursing programs
• Build and manage relationships with healthcare facilities and preceptors to maintain and add new partnerships for practicum placement
• Guide students through the practicum application process once a site and preceptor are identified
• Process and maintain appropriate documentation related to practicum placement information
• Assist in maintaining field experience resources (e.g. webinars, videos, communications, etc.) to support students through the field experience process
• Complete the review process for practicum applications
• Prepare, complete, and maintain reports, files, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner

Qualifications –

• 3-5 years of customer service, sales, or marketing experience
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service, sales, and relationship management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with diverse populations
• Excellent time management skills with an ability to set and meet deadlines
• Creative, innovative, and strategic thinking as well as the ability to work independently
• Ability to independently work with faculty and students at a distance
