Student workers will collaborate on a six-week place-based education project focused on creating secondary lesson plans grounded in the cultural, ecological, and community context of Capitol Reef National Park and Wayne County, Utah. Students will participate in a 1-hour weekly group meeting and complete up to 2 additional hours per week of independent work.
Summary Of Responsibilities
Students will work closely with the faculty supervisor and peers to produce high-quality instructional materials for future teacher-education cohorts. This position supports professional growth in curriculum design, reflective practice, collaboration, and place-based pedagogy within rural education contexts.
